MaviKalem Hatay Girls’ Status Report is Out

The “Hatay Girls Status Report”, in which we analyzed the results of the interviews we conducted with girls in Hatay on 07-09 April 2023 is published.

Our report is based on interviews with 25 girls between the ages of 15 and 18 in Üç Gedik, Serinyol, Anayazı neighborhoods of the Antakya district of Hatay province, in the Container City (Katar-Türkiye Kardeşlik Konteyner Kenti) in Büyük Dalyan neighborhood and the tent city in the Old Animal Market (Eski Hayvan Pazarı).

In the research study carried out by three of our friends, one of whom is a field coordinator, one is a child development specialist, and one is a sociologist, we aimed to identify the gender-sensitive needs of girls aged 15-18 living in different neighborhoods in the earthquake zone.
